GR1

Just in case you haven't noticed I'm a great fan of walking in Spain.  In fact I'm such a fan that I'm writing a guide to my favorite Spanish walk, the GR1 Sendero Histórico (GR1) and I've even been able to persuade someone to publish it (Cicerone).

Writing the guide is a major undertaking but on wet days in Brighton it's proving a great distraction and another chance to relive the wonderful times I had on the route.  I'm also trying to keep 'the blog' up to date with my progress to becoming 'a writer' although, as I say to anyone who asks, the plot for a walking guide is pretty straightforward.

Writing a blog about writing a walking guide is also a sort of 'shout out' to anyone who might be able to help.  In particular if you have some photographs from anywhere along the route you think might help illustrate it then please let me know.

For further information on the guide go to A Guide for the GR1 Sendero Histórico

For my first impressions of the route please read:
